A week at Cooperstown

Cooperstown Dreams Park — Tournament Week 7

For one week every summer, Cooperstown Dreams Park turns into a little baseball town, and this year the Hurricanes got to call it home. Between the games, the pin trading, and the nights in the village, it was the trip the boys had been pointing toward all season.

Moments from the week

Bounced back

A tough opener didn't set the tone. The boys answered right back with a win over the Iron Knights Red — exactly the response you want to see from a team.

10–9 thriller

The signature game of the week: a back-and-forth 10–9 win over Cave Spring Elite that had the whole tent on its feet until the final out.

Down to the wire

Another one-run battle followed against Beaver Valley White — the kind of tight, every-pitch game that makes a group of kids grow up fast together.

Bracket play

As the #62 seed the Canes drew a strong TC Knights team in bracket play and pushed them to the end, falling 11–9 in a two-run game. A gutsy way to close out the week.

The record is just a number. What the boys carry home is a week of baseball with their teammates — the big innings, the tent, the pins, and a whole lot of memories the families won't forget.
